many consumers even use us to play remote 3D PC games from their iPads :) We are fully optimized for NVIDIA GPU, AMD/ATI GPU/APU, Intel latest CPUs/GPUs. * Splashtop is best known for higher performance than RDP, VNC, and others, especially over 3G/LTE/WAN. so WAN performance can be poor when using non-Windows devices) RDP clients performance varies greatly across different platforms (as Microsoft hasn't support latest RDP protocol to run on various non-Windows platforms. so just use any Chrome browser and you can remote control/access, without installing native clients. Splashtop also has Chrome browser client support. besides native Windows and MAC clients for IT/MSP, Splashtop does offer iOS, Android, Chromebook, and other clients.
Splashtop supports MACs (and Linux PCs) well. Some businesses have BYOD PCs and different versions of Windows do show up. * RDP service isn't available for some Windows versions (Starter, Home Premium, etc.). so unless both AWS & Azure all go down concurrently around the globe, Splashtop infrastructure should be near 100% uptime. our global infrastructure is based on AWS and Azure. There are cost to setup and operate these gateway(s) uptime I assume. or many RDP gateways (if you have multiple offices). there is no need to configure and manage RDP gateway/server. * with Splashtop Business (cloud-based) solution, we operate a global relay infrastructure to seamless traverse across networks. but please allow me to share my 2 cents elaboration on a few Splashtop Business benefits over RDP / gateways: Doug, sorry I don't have answer for your issue.
